Robert “King” Meriwether III Gets A KO In Las Vegas Fight

Saturday night was Mayweather Promotions fight night in Las Vegas at The Chelsea inside The Cosmopolitan. 

Super lightweights Kevin Johnson (12-3, 8KO’s) and Cristian Baez (19-2, 17KO’s) were the main event and Judges ruled the bout 96-94, 97-93, 97-93 in favor of Baez.

Micky Scala (7-0, 4 KO’s), and Ricardo Villalba (20-7-1, 8 KO’s) were the co-main event, and after six rounds, judges ruled Scala with a unanimous decision win.

Making his U.S. and Mayweather Promotions debut, Robert “King” Meriwether III (3-0 2 KO’s), a seventeen-year-old fighter from Louisville, Kentucky fought Jayden Salway, 20, of Browning, Montana. Meriwether, with his speed and power ended this fight at the 2-minute and 9 seconds mark of round 1 to get the KO.
